X-Forces supports the Armed Forces Community in Scotland

With the Support of RBS and ABF The Soldier’s Charity, X-Forces was delighted to provide the opportunity of a Start Up Skills Workshop at the RBS Business School in Gogarburn on the 29th of February. With a strong focus on exploring the avenue of self employment as an option, the event covered the basics of business planning and what considerations must be given before starting a business.The event gave it’s attendees the opportunity to voice their own business ideas and discuss the option of self employment in a great setting with likeminded and enthusiastic individuals.

X-Forces also had the pleasure of helping to facilitate an Enterprise Roundtable for the Armed Forces Community the following day in the RBS Business School in Gogarburn. The roundtable provided a chance for key stakeholder within he Armed Forces and Enterprise Sectors to discuss how they could work together to support ex-service personnel in their quest to start-up businesses. In addition, a local X-Forces business, Xerus Ltd. were able to speak about their experience of starting a business with the key organisations that support business and enterprise
