X-Forces present at the Royal British Legion’s annual operations conference

X-Forces were at the Royal British Legion’s Annual Conference at the University of Warwick this week to talk to the Operations staff, Case Officers and senior figures within the charity about the importance of teaching Enterprise Skills to the Armed Forces community and how X-Forces support can be accessed by the Legion’s beneficiaries.

 We believe Enterprise Skills are Life Skills and are incredibly important for those choosing to start a business and enter the commercial world from a military background. These are invaluable skills that are transferable to both self-employment and employment, as Entrepreneurs start up a new business and Intrapreneurs bring innovation to the organisations they work within when employment is the preferred option. Our support opens the doors to these skills, the commercial world and business networks for the beneficiaries and the wider Armed Forces community.

We are delighted to have already utilised a number of the Royal British Legion’s Pop-In Centres across the UK and have the support of Case Officers. However this is just the start and we will be working closely with the Pop-Ins, Outreach Centres and Legion staff to support beneficiaries.
