X-Forces announces exciting new partnership with The Military Mutual

X-Forces is delighted to announce a new partnership with The Military Mutual (TMM). X-Forces is always looking to bring together like-minded organisations to help build a network for our Armed Forces community that provides benefits to all. TMM are a fast-growing organisation that provides the community with a range of insurance products tailored to their needs and more importantly take the time to understand their clients. For X-Forces this is exactly what we want for our X-Forces Businesses, an organisation that takes time to listen.

TMM are focussed on supporting veterans who have transitioned out of the services who are either considering, or have set up their own businesses. They provide a bespoke small business and commercial insurance underwriting service that caters for the specific needs of start-ups and small businesses. TMM also offer a range of wider insurance products including the following:

  • Home insurance
  • Landlord insurance
  • Military kit insurance
  • Small Business Insurance
  • Car insurance and
  • Mortgage service

Ahead of the announcement, Sir Sebastian Roberts, Chairman of The Military Mutual said:“We are a financial services business established to support the insurance and other financial needs of the Military Family fairly and flexibly. Our Board is made up of veterans from the Royal Navy, the Army and the Royal Air Force who are determined to do the right thing for our Members. We are a true Mutual which means there are no shareholders: our customers become Members, who own the business and have a say in how it is run.

“Our new relationship with X-Forces is based on the natural synergy between two organisations that share a common purpose and values; we look forward to our relationship developing, and pursuing the new avenues it will create to strengthen our joint offering to ex-military entrepreneurs. We believe very strongly in our duty to help transitioning members of the Military Family to establish footholds in the outside world that are worthy of their capabilities. We have designed very flexible small enterprise and commercial products that will give them cost-effective and secure options for protecting their businesses.”

X-Forces CEO, Ren Kapur MBE, added: “We can honestly say that working with The Military Mutual will be a true partnership and will bring a host of benefits to our entrepreneurs and their businesses. We are delighted to partner with TMM, who have a similarly in-depth understanding and respect for the whole Armed Forces community.

“The TMM product suite is more relevant and tailored to our client group and puts them first. TMM’s team continually engage with us at X-Forces to understand the dynamic needs of our businesses; an invaluable element of this partnership for ongoing success.”

Our partnership has already got off to a great start, and TMM joined X-Forces earlier this month at our ‘X-Forces Women in Business’ networking event. The evening brought together the first of three military spouse focus groups, offering their personal perspectives on enterprise, self-employment and business start up. TMM’s Business Development Manager, and former Royal Artillery officer, Florence Everett attended on the night and said, “I was privileged enough to attend the ‘X-Forces Women in Business’ networking event at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst. The hands on advice, support and collaborative nature of the workshop left those involved feeling invested in taking their business ideas forward, with renewed focus and clear next steps to take. It was excellent to see genuine positive support being delivered in such a collegial way”.
