Amazon are the newest member to the X-Forces Enterprise Big Business Supporting Small Business steering group, which will have its annual meeting towards the end of the year. This relationship between Amazon and XFE strengthens the commitment from stakeholders in the community to support those budding entrepreneurs and new business owners on their transition journey.
Additionally, this new partnership brings the development of a brand-new, bespoke training programme for those interested in self-employment, but also interested in developing themselves as a business owner with Amazon. Amazon is seeking entrepreneurs across the country to launch and operate their own parcel delivery business. The Delivery Service Partner (DSP) programme provides an opportunity for strong leaders who are passionate about starting their own business. With low start-up costs, built-in demand, and access to Amazon’s technology and logistics experience, this is an opportunity to build and grow a successful package delivery business. Joining a robust community of small businesses, you will help deliver thousands of parcels to customers every day.
Jamie Keen and James Rose Shaw left the military together in 2018 and despite zero experience in logistics, took the leap and joined the Amazon Delivery Service Partner program. Read their story here.
There is initially a one-day course, with an optional second half day if you are interested in pursuing this opportunity. Day one helps you explore whether self-employment and this opportunity might be right for you. Day two covers more in depth financial and legal aspects related to working with Amazon should you wish to proceed with exploring this wonderful opportunity in more detail.
This free workshop is now live for registration, and all the details can be found on our registration page here. Any queries can be directed to events@x-forces.com. Look forward to seeing you there.
