Minister For Small Business Supports the Military in Business® Community

We are delighted that the Minister for Small Business, Paul Scully MP, will be joining us for an exclusive Military In Business® networking event next week. Having previously owned a number of small businesses himself, the MP for Sutton and Cheam was appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary of State in February of 2020.

This will be a unique opportunity for him to hear about the needs of small business directly from our Armed Forces community, as well as sharing some insights about the small business agenda from a government perspective. We invite our Military in Business® community to come along with your questions for Paul; we will facilitate the Q&A opportunity, as well as hopefully make some recommendations for the future.

Ren Kapur MBE, XFE CEO, said: “When Paul and I spoke at the end of 2020, at the EM3 local enterprise roundtable, we discussed the different government initiatives available for business recovery, and the importance of the handrail of support.

“It was at this time that government had put further emphasis on peer-to-peer networks, which, as we enter our third lockdown, are a priority. Peer-to-peer support is a major part of the X-Forces Enterprise DNA, as seen with our new platform, the Knowledge Exchange Hub.

“Paul’s belief in peer-to-peer support and advocacy should continue to foster positive results for our small business community as we try and sustain for the future.”

This will be a key opportunity to gain insight into any additional government plans for small business, in an exclusive and closed forum.

We will have lots of interest for this event so please ensure you register in advance at the following link: https://bit.ly/2KH8uNJ
