X-Forces Enterprise is delighted to announce that Lt General Richard Nugee CB, CVO, CBE, former Chief of Defence People (CDP) has been appointed Patron of X-Forces Enterprise (XFE).

General Nugee, currently leading the review on the MOD’s climate change policy, will retire in December after nearly 40 years in the Army. Already a huge supporter of XFE, he brings with him a huge amount of knowledge of all ranks of three Armed Forces, knowing the challenges and training they receive and how this can be applied to XFE’s support programmes.

General Nugee commented:

“Through my role as CDP I saw first-hand how equipping service personnel with key skills, not only maintained the high standards of the UK’s fighting force, but saw a huge number of opportunities open up when they transitioned to civilian life.

“The enterprise mindset and values XFE instills into its growing community has seen it evolve to be a cornerstone of the Military sector, one I am hugely honoured to now be a part of. I am looking forward to being part of their exciting plans for the future.”

CEO and Founder of XFE, Lt Colonel Ren Kapur MBE said:

“XFE was established on the solid foundations of enterprise and community, with a huge focus on the importance of collaborative relationships and that all-important sense of belonging.

“This not only provides a much-needed safety net but most importantly emulates the confidence personnel have when they are serving. We are very excited that General Nugee has agreed to be our Patron, his insight and expertise will help us to understand and support even more of those who need our help most.”
