Throughout 2020, we all saw how important it was to stay connected with one another, in both a professional and personal capacity. Networking will be as important as ever to retain and develop businesses throughout 2021 and we look forward to supporting many more businesses in their journey of self-employment, whether you’re in the consideration stage or an established business owner.
Last year we proudly supported over 700 people through our training & networking events and are looking forward to meeting both familiar and fresh faces next year, continuing to build the network for the Armed Forces community.
Special keynote speakers in 2020 included David Richmond CBE, Director of the Office for Veterans’ Affairs, Julie Baker from NatWest, as well as the wider NatWest team in support of their #GEW10K competition, and many of our Soldiering On Awards Finalists and Winners such as Tribal Tracks, Leona Barr-Jones and Thomas Fox.
It was also great to be involved with Andy Mihalop from Facebook. A big thank you goes out to Keith May and David Richmond CBE for both their support when we did our first virtual event of 2020!
We also brought two new XFE Ambassadors onboard – Carrie Moss for the East Midlands region, who has given us lots more involvement with the Spouse community, and Hannah Saunders for the South Wales region. Hannah has given our community some incredible insight into a company that has done really well through COVID-19, and will continue to bring more insight and support during 2021 to ensure beneficiaries are targeting the right people for their products and services.
Kick-start your 2021 with the right support and advice for your business, and get connected with likeminded individuals from the Armed Forces community – all for free. View our upcoming events here: https://bit.ly/34lSzeA
